Claim: During the Presidential primaries Marco Rubio accused Donald Trump of having small hands.
During the Republican primaries, Marco Rubio accused then candidate Donald Trump of having small hands. Officially, his campaign’s position was that Trump was not someone who could be trusted. Unofficially, pundits were saying that this was actually meaning that Trump has Vienna sausage instead of bratwurst.
Towards the end of February 2016, in response to Trump calling him “little Rubio,” Rubio said, “He’s like 6’2” which is why I don’t understand why his hands are the size of someone who is 5’2″. Have you seen his hands? You know what they say about men with small hands? You can’t trust them.” Trump would later defend his hand size in the next debate and Rubio subsequently apologized.
The apology has not stopped the speculation on Trump’s hand size. There have been a number of articles written on the subject and someone leaked the measurements from Madame Tussaud’s wax museum. Additionally, there is photographic evidence suggesting that he does have small hands.
In an article written by Weekend Journalist magazine, they quote an anonymous White House staffer, “His hand are actually very small; we had to buy special pens for him to sign documents. He has made deals with most of the media for them to Photoshop his hands to normal size.” The staffer also added, “At nights, he watches Teen Titans Go and considers Robin to be his special inspiration.”
Based on the leaked measurements and the photographic evidence, it is clear that Trump does have small than average hand size. For this reason, this claim is considered true.
